The Gathering will be held at the Marriott Beach & Golf Resort on Hilton Head, SC, a luxurious resort island just off the coast of South Carolina approximately 45 minutes north of Savannah, GA. You'll enjoy the very best in accommodations at the beautiful Marriott Beach & Golf Resort, which features three championship golf courses, over 20 tennis courts, bike trails, an indoor health club, indoor pool, and jacuzzi (open late each night, just for us)! Located directly on the beach, it's the perfect spot for a time of relaxation and rest!
Lodging will be handled by the staff of the Marriott Beach & Golf Resort. You will receive a lodging request form with confirmation of your registration, or call toll-free to place your reservation (mention The Gathering for conference rate) at 1-888-236-2427 or click HERE for online reservations. Special group rates, only $135 per night (single or double rooms), have been secured to bring The Gathering within the budget of almost any size church — regular rates in the season are over $200 per night.
You may also secure this special conference rate for up to two days prior to and/or following The Gathering if you indicate your desire to do so on your special lodging reservation form to the Marriott.
TRANSPORTATION
From I-95 (North and South) take South Carolina EXIT 8 to HWY 278. Continue on HWY 278 crossing the bridge onto Hilton Head Island. Palmetto Dunes will be located on your left, after mile marker 8 on the island. The Marriott Beach & Golf Resort is located one mile into Palmetto Dunes.
For those guests who will be flying, you may book flights into the Savannah, GA Airport (approximately 45 minutes away) or directly onto Hilton Head Island at the Hilton Head Airport. Rental cars are available; consult your travel agent for details.
